We are about to release version 1.3 of Virtual Life Support. The new version will start rolling-out today. It provides some exciting new features and a number of smaller and bigger improvements with a focus on usability.

New:
  • After action report that gives a summary of the training results, provides functionality to zoom in on aspects of the score and thus provides more insight into scoring
  • Olivia, a bystander who you should instruct to get an AED
  • Voice over for the intro dialogs
  • Preset for the AmbuMan manikin
Improvements:
  • Increases display frequency to 90 Hz for a more comfortable experience
  • Improved progress indicator when checking breathing
  • Audio volume detection in the intro, so the dialog about volume is skipped if the volume is sufficient
  • Adds warning when using controllers instead of hand tracking
  • Adds voice line telling users about receiving hints if they take too long
  • Adds automated error reporting
Bug fixes:
  • Fixes shadow-like artifact on victim's hand
  • Fixes bike scale
  • Fixes street level
  • Fixes ambulance floating above street
