We are about to release version 1.5.2 of Virtual Life Support. This new version will start rolling-out today. For existing users this is a maintenance release providing a number of bug fixes and minor improvements. Version 1.5.2 is however also the first release for the Pico 4 Enterprise headset.

If you're an existing user (including most users of the evaluation version), you will be able to get access to this update through your usual channel. If you're not an existing user, but would like to try out Virtual Life Support, get in touch by clicking the button below.

Improvements:
  • Increased interaction area of the phone on the ground, making it easier to reach
  • Increased interaction area of the shock button on the AED
  • Increased interaction area in which trainee can perform chest compressions
  • Added limits to custom manikin chest height
  • Improved instruction in dialog that appears when no hands are detected, now specifically prompting the user to hold out their hands
  • Improved button behavior
Bug fixes:
  • Fixed an issue where repeatedly selecting a manikin preset or custom manikin would keep lowering the victim during calibration
  • Fixed inconsistency in menu button sound effects
  • Fixed minor shading issue on hands while performing CPR
