Hi there,

We are about to release version 1.4 of Virtual Life Support. This new version will start rolling-out today. It provides some exciting new features and some improvements with a focus on improving compliancy with the guidelines.

If you're an existing user (including users of the evaluation version), you will be able to get access to this update through your usual channel. If you're not an existing user, but would like to try out Virtual Life Support, get in touch by clicking the button below.

We would appreciate any feedback you may have. Feel free to use the button below to send us your feedback.

New:
  • Integrates the SimCPR® Pro Trainer for more accurate measurements of compression depth (optional)
  • Training results can now be saved to the cloud and retrieved from the Virtual Life Support website
  • Training results can be downloaded from the Virtual Life Support website in PDF format
  • Specific support for the Dutch NRR guidelines (Dutch language needs to be selected)
  • Alignment of the manikin is now saved on the device using 'spatial anchors', minimizing the necessity for frequent manikin adjustments when training in the same space
Improvements:
  • EMS call now has to be initiated by the user (by picking up the phone)
  • EMS call dialogue now adapts to actions performed by the trainee, like whether or not they have already checked the victim's breathing
  • Initial steps (Danger-Response-Airway-Breathing) can now be performed out of order
Bug fixes:
  • Loading stutter when selecting a new language
  • Various other bug fixes and performance improvements
Known issues:
  • Back button in the setup dialogs may not work reliably; this will be addressed in an upcoming hotfix
Have fun with this update!
